ragum

Ragum (Hebrew for "pelted with stones") are a 3-piece grindcore band from Palestine. Their lyrics are about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to anarchism. Their songs feature heavy use of samples that range from interviews and speeches, to interrogations of Israeli soldiers that have shot civilians and etc. The vast majority of their songs feature heavy criticism towards the state of Israel.

The band have formed in 2022 and have released one album in may of 2024, they have an upcoming release with no known date of release of it yet.

Alien Fucker

Alien Fucker are a parody-cybergrind band that makes music about such lovely topics as raping: aliens, raping aliens and not much else. They use a lot of synthesizers which makes them stand out in the mostly samey metal crowd.
The band formed in 2013 and has been releasing music since.
The band also owns HGP records to release their stuff and some of their side projects.

KA'TZON LA'TEVACH (Hebrew for 'As Lambs To The Slaughter) are a punk/hardcore band with a rough metal influenced sound. Their lyrics are political and  always talk bout the Israeli-Palestinian conflict from their view of bein Israeli citizens seeing the horrors Israel is doing to the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Their lyrics offer a critique on stuff in a way that makes you think about the stuff the songs are about in a new lens you might have never thought about before. The band was formed in 2019 and they released 3 albums since.

Srefa (Hebrew for a fire)  are a black metal band from Israel/Palestine that was formed in 2020. Their sound is a brutal sound compared to most black metal bands, despite that they still manage to create a mesmerizing atmosphere that draws you into the album. Their EP Primal is raw and brutal whilst their album Solstice is more lo-fi and captivating

Bnoth Khoshekh

 Bnoth Khoshekh - בנות חושך

 

 One of my personal favorite bands, Bnot Khosekh (translating to "Daughters of Darkness") are a Klezmer inspired Emocore band from Tel Aviv. And are one of the most unique bands to come out of that scene in YEARS, they describe their debut album Ketev Malkot (כטב מלכות) as "Queer Post-Jewish musings on empire, alienation and resistance" which is, admittedly, very pretentious sounding. but they more than make up for that with banger music and a very fresh attitude towards music.
